The information was released at a meeting on launching the peak period on struggling against drug on Viet Nam-Cambodia border lines on June 13 by the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Cambodian Ministry of Interior.

Drug trafficking focuses on three Vietnamese Southern border localities including Tay Ninh, An Giang and Kien Giang and five Cambodian localities of Kampong Cham, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Takeo and Kampot.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and evaluated the situations, outcomes and difficulties during the process of fighting against drug between the two sides as well as proposed measures to improve the effectiveness of cooperation in the future.
